Thursday Levi had his 2 week check up. He is indeed a healthy and growing boy. He left the hospital weighing 7 lbs, 5 oz. and by his appointment Thursday he was up to 8 lbs, 14 oz. To give you a little perspective the goal is to hit birth weight by this time (for Levi, 8-2), and he exceeded that. They measured him at 20 1/4 inches long even though at the hospital they said he was 21 inches. He didn't lose any height (if that's even possible), but for some reason they measure length differently at the doctor's office.
Some updates about life at home with Levi:
- He has not figured out days and nights yet.
- If he is awake he thinks he should be eating.
- Pacifiers/Binkies are quite frustrating at this time since he thinks they are just one cruel trick.
- Amelia LOVES Levi. She has been 'helping' and toting around her own babies to take care of too.
- Poor Levi has been called Amelia and/or She so many times it's ridiculous. We've gotten better though.
Life is good. We're tired. All is considered joy.
