Lately we have been very busy traveling...
(Andrew would like you to know that this is what is necessary for us to spend a couple nights away from home. He would also like you to know that in college he could have just taken a backpack).Amelia has been such a trooper through it all. Unfortunately, my cousin Larry Barngrover, Jr. died unexpectedly at the end of April so Amelia got to travel to St. Charles, MO for her first funeral. From Iowa it is about 6 hours without stops (but we stopped). Amelia got to meet all of her Great Aunts and Uncles that she hadn't met yet while we were there.
Then two weekends later we traveled to Bucklin, MO for Tracey Switzer's bridal shower that I hosted and we visited with all the grandparents and great grandparents while we were so close. This is my dear friend Tracey and her hubby-to-be Ben:
Last Saturday we traveled to Kansas City for our college friend, Erin (McKillip) Lippincott's wedding. Here we are with another close college friend, Angie Van Boening:
And this weekend we are heading to Chicago so Amelia can meet her Aunt Alicia and Uncle Chad for the first time while they are visiting from London! Amelia is so excited!
All of our trips have gone really well and we've enjoyed visiting with our family and friends. Although, we are pretty excited to have a few weekends coming up that we can spend at home and just relax!

what a cute post!! love it. we will miss you guys!! we don't have a child, but traveling has been the story or our lives lately also. not as many "big trips", but definitely being away from home. when you guys get back to iowa, we will have to plan a summer get together for later on, in Iowa ;)
ps- we will miss you three, if i didn't already say that.

Ha! Don't you love traveling with kids and how much stuff you have to lug around with you? Yeah, in college I could have spent the weekend away with just a backpack. Now I pack a backpack just to go to the store! :)
